  This place feels like a log cabin on the inside. We got the lunch menu when we went in around 3pm on a Sunday. I was expecting a dinner menu but that's OK. My wife got the fish sandwich and I got the Shrimp (sweet BBQ sauce). The food came out really fast which was nice. The service was friendly too (from the host to the waitress) which is always nice. When our food got served my meal was visually underwhelming while my wife's fish sandwich was huge! We both got sweet potato fries and it appeared she got more of that too. I was disappointed on my meal portion size. For $14.95 I only got 7 small shrimp and some sweet potato fries. Don't get me wrong, the food tasted really good, just small portion size. They had fried shrimp which boasted a half pound of shrimp so I guess if you want fried shrimp your portion would be bigger. We tried the dessert and both the strawberry cobbler and the German chocolate cake were good.
  
  All in all it is a good place. It had a more elderly crowd as well (which is fine). And if you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of the cute resident cat outside the front door as you enter or exit.

  Closing for good soon April 19, 2017. Great food: lobster roll or lobster tail, fresh vegetables, trout, trigger fish, oysters, shrimp boiled or grilled with shell on THEN they de-shell them for maximum flavor. Fireplace. Game room for kids with ping pong. It will be busy till they close. What a great restaurant this has been. Congratulations Norman!

  Norman's Landing is a diamond in the rough. But if you go inside, you will find some of the freshest seafood and nicest people in the area. I highly suggest getting the trigger fish if its on the special's list- almond crusted! The servers are great with making suggestions too!
